Our Adoptable Pets

Auction For A Kaws is dedicated to promoting the compassionate treatment of animals in our community through adoption

Zip

Zip is a very loving 7 year old. Lovess to curl up in your lap and cuddle. Great with kids and other animals.

Dexter

He’s a wonderful combination of spunky energy and mellow cuddlebug. He packs a ton of personality in 8lbs!

Miley

MILEY is a young Yorkshire Terrier currently in rescue with Auction for A Kaws. She was an impromptu photo session for the day. She was a very kind and peaceful little girl. She is not yet up for adoption, but I think someone will scoop her up quickly.

Hobbs

Meet HOBBS! He is an 8 month old Great Dane mix. He was a perfect relaxed gentleman for his photo session. Hobbs' is an 85 lb puppy with the typical goofy long-legged funny Great Dane personality. He's sweet, gentle and will steal your couch. He will be up for adoption at the end of the week through Auction for A Kaws, but I have this feeling he won't be for long.

Molly

MISS MOLLY is a tiny little Chihuahua. She's all prim, proper and as dainty as can be. She didn't make a peep the entire session and was a sweet as sugar. Molly is officially up for adoption through Auction for A Kaws. Please contact Keli Miller to fill out an adoption application.

Roxie

Meet ROXIE! She is a puppy mill dog used only for breeding purposes. She was kept in a kennel with no human contact. Roxie is now in rescue with Auction for A Kaws and learning to trust, being shown constant love and affection, and figuring out that not all humans are bad. She is currently going through Heartworm Treatment. Once finished, Roxie will go up for adoption. Despite being timid, she did very well for her first photo session.

Before You Adopt

1

Adopting an animal is a big responsibility.

When adopting a pet from Auction For A Kaws, please understand that there are significant financial costs associated with properly caring for a pet, such as veterinary care, training, food, and flea/tick/heartworm medication. It is important to take this all into consideration before bringing an animal into your family.

2

Consider your lifestyle before adopting.

Will you have the time, space, and resources to properly care for a pet? If you already have pets, be sure that bringing home another animal will be in the pets’ best interest.

3

Bring your pet in to meet before adopting.

Please consider bringing your own pets to our facility to meet your potential new pet. In order to bring your pet to our facility, he/she must be up-to-date on all vaccines and you must provide proof of vaccination record.
